for Windows 95/98/NT/2000 Myriobiblos Desktop Theme was designed to be "reader friendly". It is based on our main logotype, an 11th c. image of the Evangelist Mark, from an illuminated manuscript preserved at the Holy Mountain (Monastery of Ivires). System colors are chosen carefully in order to lessen the stress resulting from monitor radiation and to support reading. For the same reason font size is rather large. Two desktop icons are new, "My computer" and "Recycle bin", as well as most of the system sounds. |
